Birthday Celebration - May
26
Come celebrate
George Nuttle's 95th
birthday with the family. A
pot luck luncheon will be
held on May 26th, at noon
after the AM worship
service, in the Meeting
Hall. Cake will be provided
by the family. A sign-up
sheet will be on the foyer
round table so the family
will know how much cake to
prepare. Hope you can

The quarterly
meeting will be Thursday
night, may 23rd, beginning
at 7:00 p.m. Please plan to

All Elders,
Deacons, Ministers and their
families are invited to an
Appreciation Dinner, June 1,
2013, at 5:00 p.m. Please
sign up the number of guests
on the sign-in sheet on the
foyer round table.
To all Ladies and youth
girls of any age: if you
would like to help with the
appreciation dinner, there
is a sign-up sheet to help
provide food for the event.
For those willing to help
host, please help set up at
the building Friday, May
31st, at 6:30 p.m. (pizza
supper provided) and arrive
at the building no later
than 4:30 p.m. on Saturday,
June 1st. Help is needed
setting up, serving, and
cleaning up. Please get your
young girls involved as
well, to show appreciation
to our Elders, Deacons, and
Ministers. Please contact

Backstrom with any

Paragould Trip
- June 3
The
Paragould trip this year
will be from Monday, June
3rd, thru Saturday, June
8th. This is an enjoyable
and rewarding week of
service to the Lord at
Children's Home Inc. in
Paragould, AR. There is a
sign-up sheet on the foyer
round table if you will be
going. There is no price for
going on this trip (but you
will need enough cash for
two fast food type meals).
Remember to fill out a
parental consent form with
all your current information
(including insurance
information). If you need

wearable condition and any
appliances should work. They
CANNOT accept car seats,
baby beds, mattresses and
non-working TV's. |

Royals Game at
Kauffman Stadium - July 25
You have
spoken! We have chosen the
Thursday night Royals game
on July 25th (7:10 p.m.
start against the Orioles)
with ALL YOU CAN EAT seats.
The cost will be $20 per

Ladies Day - Sept. 21
Ladies of the
congregation, mark your
calendars, the sixth annual
Fairgrounds Road ladies Day
will be held here on
Saturday, September 22,
2013. Our guest speaker will
be Dianne McCoy, from Ozark,
Missouri, and the theme will
be "Growing in Christ"
through study and prayer.
Registration will begin at
9:30 a.m. and the program
will adjourn at 1:30 p.m. A
light breakfast and lunch
will be served. |

Electronic Offering
We are
now processing electronic
offering for those who
desire to do that. In this
program, those giving do not
have to write a check for
their offering, the office
can run a program which
transfers the funds. The
participant can place their
contribution envelope in the
regular offering marked "EFT"
(electronic funds transfer).

the table in the foyer, as
you leave each week.

this site. Just click on the "Audio
Sermons" button in the left hand
navigation pane and you will find
the sermons indexed by date. If
multiple sermons are a part of a
special topic series, they are
also grouped separately according to
series title. You can listen to them
while on line, or you can download
them to your computer for repeated
use. These files are in MP3
format and can be easily transferred
to a portable MP3 player for the
convenience of taking them with you
wherever you go. |

Communion service
Communion service is
available
on Sundays for members of the church
who are unable to attend the a.m. or
p.m. worship services. If you wish
to request this service, please
contact Gilbert Rank. |

The church information line
The
information line is
available
before 9:00 a.m. daily and after
4:00 p.m. during week days. It is
always available during the weekend.
To access the line, simply dial
636-8446 and press 5 on the main
menu. It will give you updates
concerning items of interest, plus
whether or not a worship service is
cancelled due to snow or icy
weather. |
